What I do at Accenture…

I joined in January 2025, following an industrial placement between 2022-23, as a Management Consulting Analyst.

I’m currently in a Business Analyst role. My key responsibilities include drafting application design requirements, creating solution architecture designs, and overseeing the implementation efforts and architectural governance of the agreed-upon designs.

What I wish I knew when I joined…

You don’t get if you don’t ask. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and committed to helping analysts find the right opportunities for their career development. So, if there's something you want to learn or do, just go ahead and ask.

Start networking in your areas of interest as soon as possible. The first two years as an analyst will pass quickly, so it's beneficial to think long-term and start getting to know the right people in the right areas.

Project journey so far…

During my placement, I joined ?What If! Innovation, a subsidiary of Accenture, where I worked on fast-paced, short-term projects across a variety of industries—including Life Sciences, Banking, and the Non-Profit Sector. This allowed me to collaborate with multiple teams to deliver consulting services such as developing adaptive strategies, designing new product offerings, and fostering innovative cultures within organisations.

Since January, I’ve joined Technology Strategy and Advisory (TS&A) and I am currently working on an Enterprise Architecture project for an Aerospace and Defence client. This three-year program aims to automate engine maintenance processes within the business to reduce costs and prevent value leakage. I have also been supporting another project within the account which involves identifying UX issues with a recently implemented tool and creating solution designs to address these challenges.
