The Task Based Interview is a virtual interview with a recruiter which lasts approximately 45-60 minutes.  This is a scenario based interview, where you will be asked to review written, video and audio content depicting different client challenges.  Once you have reviewed the information, the recruiter will ask you questions about the content, and your approach to the specific challenges. 

The interview is designed to give you insights into client challenges and ask you to think on the spot about how you would approach certain tasks and challenges.  It is not necessary to prepare for this interview, however it is always useful to familiarise yourself with how we work with clients by reading our client case studies on the Accenture website. 

We would strongly recommend you complete on a laptop/desktop in full screen mode. We would also recommend you use Google Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox, and disable pop-up blockers before you start.  Please also check that your camera and microphone are working prior to your interview. 

You will receive feedback by email on your task based interview.  We will identify the areas where you performed well during the interview as well as share information on areas on where you have performed less well by comparison.  We do not consider these weaknesses as such, but will offer some guidance as to how you might develop these skills further. 

You will have received a link by email to schedule your interview at a time convenient to you.  Just before your interview you will receive another email to confirm that you are still able to attend.  Once you confirm your attendance, you will be sent final confirmation. 

Please note when booking (or if you need to reschedule) that our start dates and roles are filled on a first come first served basis.

Although your Task Based interview is virtual, you will be on camera throughout so it is important to dress as you would if you were attending our office. The dress code is business-casual.  If you would like to blur your background, you can do this in the interview platform when you log in for your interview.
